why the reject ?
According to the notes on your reupload you rejected it yourself.

Been told by Puru that the new system automatically rejects uploads downvoted by the uploader so that they no longer need to poke moderators if a file came out corrupted, with pages in the wrong order, or if they realised after uploading that it was actually a dupe.

This would explain why there is no audit log of me or Puru rejecting this.

Sidenote, you don't need to vote on your own contributions except to trigger this automatic downvote, voting on pending galleries is supposed to be for moderation purposes (it essentially allows contributors to peer review each others tagging or warn about dupes shit incoherent "translations" to save moderators time). My approve/reject buttons automatically place a matching upvote/downvote on anything I moderate.

While it does happen for me because of this automatic mod vote, manually upvoting your own contributions is pointless, unless you mean to indicate you've verified presence for all tags manually instead of just trusting the importer.
Voting on galleries contributes to your moderator level (this is why mods vote automatically when doing our job, to ensure we get credit for it without having to add mechanics to track approvals/rejections separately) bad or redundant votes will give the impression that you're only voting for the points (much like Sigmarc and Bronzerobot used to do) which would mean your votes wouldn't be considered reliable.
Glovelove alright got it thanks
Glovelove so should i down vote then the reuploaded version ? or can it stay for now

yeah apparently I can still approve this one (could even before Puru changed the status to work needed, dunno if its the promotion to super mod or the new site but seems I can overrule rejections I wasn't responsible for now, though I'd be unlikely to notice any gallery where that's even relevant without comment section activity grabbing my attention) so the reupload can be downvoted.
Hi Glovelove, just wanted to ask how long it takes for a contribution to be upldoaded.
I don't want to rush, just want to know how long these things usually take.
